Employee Manual — SanadiqCloud
Product version: 1.0.0+1 Last updated: 2026-08-03 Audience: Tenant Employees (team members with role-based permissions)
A. Introduction
What is SanadiqCloud?
SanadiqCloud is a cloud-based business management platform. Your organization uses it to manage products, inventory, sales, billing, and teamwork — all from one place.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is for Tenant Employees — team members who have been invited to an organization (called a tenant) on SanadiqCloud. What you can see and do depends on the permissions your Tenant Owner has assigned to your role.
Looking for a different role? See the Tenant Owner Manual.
If you are a Tenant Owner, see the Tenant Owner Manual.
Signing in
- Open SanadiqCloud in your browser or on your device.
- Click Sign In.
- Enter your email and password, or click Sign in with Google to use your Google account.
- If it is your first time on a new device, check your email for a verification code and enter it when prompted.
- After signing in, select your organization if you belong to multiple.
Tip: If you forgot your password, click Forgot password on the sign-in screen and follow the emailed reset code flow.
About permissions
Your role determines what you can see and do. If a button or section described in this guide is not visible to you, it means your role does not include that permission. Contact your Tenant Owner if you need access to something you cannot reach.
B. Your Profile
Editing your profile
- Tap your avatar in the shell app bar.
- Select Profile.
- You can update: - Display name - Email address (changing this may require verification) - Profile picture
- Tap Save.
Changing your password
- Open your Profile from the shell avatar menu.
- Tap Change Password.
- Enter your current password, then your new password.
- Confirm and save.
Language
- Open the Settings hub (
/settings). - Use the App preferences card — choose English or العربية.
- This setting is personal to you and does not affect other team members. There is no separate Preferences route.
Theme
Use the same App preferences card on the Settings hub to choose system / light / dark when available.
C. Dashboard
Navigating
The dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It gives you a snapshot of your organization's key metrics.
The shell uses a side navigation rail on every screen size: compact icons on mobile and tablet, and extended labels on desktop.
Understanding your view
With dashboard:read, you see the same merchant KPI cards as other members (active members, products, low stock, expiring soon, pending requisitions, transactions MTD, in-transit transfers, storage, subscription), plus Business/sales metrics when data exists.
Missing module permissions (for example product:read) does not hide those cards; it mainly disables navigation from the card. Use the side rail for sections you can access.
Pull down to refresh. There is no Export report and no quick-action shortcut strip on this page.
D. Products
Note: This section is only available if your role includes product permissions. If you do not see Product Catalog in the navigation, ask your Tenant Owner.
The Product area includes the catalog hub, master-data lists, a product form, and a guided product create wizard.
Product form vs Setup Wizard
- Products list / hub app bar → Add Product opens the product form (catalog shell only). Add SKUs from product detail → Items.
- Product Setup Wizard (hub hero / empty CTA / roadmap intro) creates one product with its first SKUs (and optional gallery) in a single submit — it is not a full bootstrap of every brand/category in the tenant.
Product Setup Wizard
- Open the wizard from the hub hero, empty CTA, or roadmap intro wizard (not the list Add button).
- Complete the steps: Product → Items → Gallery → Review.
- Submit on Review. Brands, categories, manufacturers, UoM, and variations can be created beforehand or via inline “create new” where permitted.
Products and Product Items
Products hold the catalog shell: name, description, brand, category, manufacturer, status, type, tax, and primary product image. SKU, barcode, price, UoM, dimensions, variation options, and item images live on Product Items.
- Go to Product Catalog > Products.
- Tap Add Product for the product form, or use the wizard entry points above for full setup.
- Open a product and use Items to add more SKUs, or open an item for the unified detail page (variants + images panels).
- From item detail, use Create inventory item when you need stock for that SKU (requires inventory permission).
Variations and Options
Variation options (such as size or color) are managed under Product Catalog > Variations (and category-scoped lists). Assign options on the item Variants panel or during the setup Items step. Color swatches are supported on options.
- Go to Product Catalog > Variations.
- Create or edit a variation and its options.
- Assign options to product items from item detail or the setup wizard.
Manufacturers and Units of Measure
- Manufacturers — Product Catalog > Manufacturers (also selectable on the product form / setup).
- Units of Measure — Product Catalog > Units of Measure; assign on each product item.
Product Images
Each product can have a primary catalog image. Each product item has its own Images panel on the item detail page. The primary item image is used as the SKU thumbnail.
Brands and Categories
- Brands — Product Catalog > Brands.
- Categories — Product Catalog > Categories (including category-level variations).
D2. Sales
Note: Only available if your role includes sales permissions.
When permitted, use the side rail Sales area to:
- Manage Customers.
- Create a Sale as draft, confirm it (stock decreases), then generate an invoice.
- Review Sales invoices.
Voiding a sale does not restore stock. See Sales Overview.
E. Inventory Operations
Note: This section is only available if your role includes inventory permissions. If you do not see Inventory in the navigation, ask your Tenant Owner.
Inventory Setup
Inventory > Setup stocks one catalog SKU into a warehouse and stock pool (optional initial bin). Steps: Storage → Catalog item → Tracking and quantity → Review and create. It does not replace creating warehouses, site Locations, or bins as separate screens.
- Go to Inventory > Setup.
- Choose warehouse and stock pool; optionally a bin.
- Choose product and SKU.
- Enter quantity, levels, cost, and tracking; review and Finish.
Blank batch/lot are auto-generated on save; serial is never auto-generated. Placard barcode uses a PL-… sequence.
Stock
Inventory > Stock lists stock pools (inventories). Open a pool to see its inventory items, then open an item for quantities, levels, tracking, allocations, and ledger.
You can also create stock from a product item detail via Create inventory item.
Physical Locations (bins)
Physical locations are bins/shelves inside a stock pool — not site addresses.
- Go to Inventory > Physical Locations (or from a stock pool).
- Tap Add Physical Location.
- Set pool, optional warehouse zone picker / bin-type preset / aisle-rack-shelf-bin, capacity, and code; save.
Warehouse zones and bin types
Warehouse zones are a separate list (/inventory/zones) — receiving, pick, pack, ship, and so on. Bins can attach to a zone. Bin type on the bin form is a local preset (standard, pallet, shelf, floor, cold), not a setup wizard step. See Warehouse Zones.
Lot and Serial Tracking
Stock items can record batch, lot, serial, and expiry/manufacture dates. Values appear on item detail, placard, and transaction history.
Inventory Search
Use Inventory > Search to find stock across all warehouses by SKU, barcode, item name, or location.
Barcode Scanner
The full-screen barcode scanner opens from the stock page or search page:
- Tap the Scan button.
- Point the camera at a barcode.
- The matching stock item or product item opens automatically.
Item Placard / PDF
From a stock item detail page, you can generate and print a placard/PDF label containing the item name, SKU, barcode, and location.
Adjustments (if permitted)
Stock adjustments correct inventory counts when physical counts differ from system records.
- Go to Inventory > Adjustments, or item Operations.
- Count types: enter counted on-hand. Damage / expiry / issue: enter units to remove.
- Submit, then approve when required.
Every adjustment is recorded in the audit trail.
Requisitions (if permitted)
Requisitions replenish inbound into a pool (optional supplier). Accept posts a receipt.
- Go to Inventory > Requisitions, or item Operations.
- Choose pool, lines, quantities; optional supplier.
- Submit → approve → process → accept.
Statuses: draft, awaiting approval, approved, processing, accepted / rejected / cancelled.
Transfers (if permitted)
Transfers move stock between pools. Pick lists issue stock from a source bin for internal use (not a sale, not a bin transfer).
- Go to Inventory > Transfers, pool Operations, or item Operations.
- Select source and destination pools; add lines with bins and qty.
- Approve → ship → receive.
Statuses: pending, approved, in transit, completed / cancelled.
Transactions (if permitted)
The Transactions page records every stock movement.
- Go to Inventory > Transactions.
- View the complete list. Filter by type, date range, warehouse, or user.
- Tap any transaction to see full details.
Ledger
The Inventory Ledger shows the complete quantity and value history for a stock item.
- Go to Inventory > Ledger.
- Search or filter by item, warehouse, or date range.
- Tap any entry to view details.
F. Notifications
Inbox
- Tap the app-bar bell (notifications are not a side-rail tab).
- Search and filter All / Read / Unread / Archived; Mark all read when needed.
- Tap a notification for detail; overflow opens Preferences / Devices.
Preferences
Channel switches (email / push / sms / in_app as returned by the API) and notification language. Not a fixed type×channel matrix.
Devices
Register or remove this device for push (FCM) when available.
Dashboard Stock Alerts are separate from the inbox — see Merchant Dashboard.
Deactivation
If your access to the organization is revoked, you will lose access to all data. You can still sign in to SanadiqCloud but will not see this organization. Contact your Tenant Owner if you believe this was done in error.
G. Audit Logs
Note: Only available if your role includes
audit:read.
Viewing logs
- Open side rail Audit (
/audit/logs). - Review the table: occurred, activity, action, target, actor.
- Filter with search, action dropdown, and date range.
- Tap a row for detail (before/after and technical JSON when present).
Export (if you have audit:export:create) shares a CSV of loaded rows only.
Audit logs are read-only. You cannot edit or delete entries.
H. Settings
Profile
- Tap your avatar in the shell app bar and select Profile.
- Update your display name, email address, or profile picture.
- Tap Save.
Language and theme
- Open the Settings hub.
- Use App preferences on the hub body for language and theme (system / light / dark).
- Your choices apply only to your account.
